Accountability for Thesis/Dissertation Writing Support Group Returning Summer 2023 This group is a support space for graduate students who are in the writing state of their dissertation or thesis. The group will focus on goal setting, time management, motivation enhancement, problem-solving, stress management, and building other skills relevant to completing the dissertation or thesis. Graduate Student Support and Therapy Groups
For more information about group counseling services including individual counseling, visit https://shcs.ucdavis.edu/group-services-new. If you are interested in a group, please call Student Health and Counseling Services (SHCS) appointment desk at (530)-752-0871 for an initial appointment. Groups typically consist of four to ten graduate students and are free for registered students.

Graduate Studies Diversity Community Dinners
The goal of the biweekly Community Dinners is to engage in social interactions in an effort to make UC Davis feel more like home. Specifically, the environment is relaxed and inviting and meant to be an opportunity for students to relax, rejuvenate and build lasting connections. The Graduate Student Association holds a weekly Coffee Bagel Donut Day, among other social events, featuring free food and the opportunity to meet other graduate students.
There are several student community centers located throughout campus, including the Student Community Center (SCC), which is home to the Cross Cultural Center, Women's Resource and Retention Center, and the LGBTQIA Resource Center.
