  • This online preparation workshop focused on communicating the value and relevance of your work.

  • An Entrepreneurship Academy organized by the Mike and Renee Child Institute for Innovation and Entrepreneurship.

Previously Qualifying

  • the "Are You Engaged? Communicating the Value of Research to Public Audiences" workshop.

  • the "Pitching like a Pro—Presenting Your Startup Slide Deck + Past BB! Winners Pitch" workshop.

  • the "Idea to Reality: Business Bootcamp + Enrich Your Pitch Mentoring Session" bootcamp.

And both,

• Submit an annotated draft of an elevator pitch indicating areas for improvement based on feedback from presenting your pitch (to a live audience, mentor(s), or peer group) to GradPathways Institute staff for verification.

• Submit an updated version of your pitch to GradPathways Institute staff for verification.

Note: Reflection and metacognition are important elements of your professional development. There is no length requirement, although we do not recommend going over about 1 page total.

While our staff will review submissions for completeness, we will not automatically respond with feedback.  Please allow 2-3 business days for badges to be issued- you will automatically receive an email from badgr to claim your badge when it is ready.  Please direct any questions to gpi@ucdavis.edu.
