To be successful in graduate school or postdoctoral training, it is important to maintain a balance between educational pursuits and wellness. GradPathways partners with Student Health and Counseling Services to provide counseling for students and workshops on topics such as stress reduction, physical activity and time management.

- While all dimensions of wellness need your attention for you to truly flourish, there doesn’t have to be a perfect balance among all dimensions. Instead, the goal is to find what works best for you. The dimensions are interconnected, so you may notice that most topics (e.g. stress, finances, healthy relationships, substance use, etc.) influence multiple dimensions. Graduate Student Association (GSA)
The Graduate Student Association holds a weekly Coffee Bagel Donut Day, among other social events, featuring free food and the opportunity to meet other graduate students.
Postdoctoral Scholars Association (PSA)
The Postdoctoral Scholars Association hosts regular meetings and social opportunities for postdocs at UC Davis.
There are several student community centers located throughout campus, including the Student Community Center (SCC), which is home to the Cross Cultural Center, Women's Resource and Retention Center, and the LGBTQIA Resource Center.
