The Graduate Student Professional Development Fund
Applications for 2022-2023 are now being accepted. Application deadline: Tuesday, November 1, 2022, 11:59pm.
The GradPathways Institute for Professional Development is pleased to announce we are now accepting applications for the Graduate Student Professional Development Fund. Graduate students and graduate student organizations are invited to apply for up to $3,000 annually that can be used to:
- Host professional development events
- Invite guest speakers
- Attend professional development training external to the university
Eligibility Criteria
All UC Davis graduate student groups, organizations, and individual students are invited to apply. Funds will be awarded based on:
- Level and breadth of impact on the UC Davis graduate student community (awardees may be asked to participate in programming to share what they learn with the larger UC Davis graduate student community),
- Uniqueness of the professional development opportunity (priority will be given to opportunities that cannot be met through other means), and
- Budget justification.

Funding is provided by the UC Office of the President Pre-Professoriate Fellowship Program, designed to support enhanced professional development opportunities of particular interest or need for graduate students from historically marginalized groups. Priority will be given to applications that clearly advance this mission.
