Learning Outcomes Assessment Pathway

Assessment Canvas Training

As part of the GradPathways Institute for Professional Development's Micro-credentials Program, the Learning Outcomes Assessment Pathway collects fundamental assessment principles from the Center for Educational Effectiveness for graduate students and post-doctoral scholars at UC Davis.

If you would like to be eligible for the Learning Outcomes Assessment micro-credential, please take note of the following course requirements on Canvas:

  • Complete all Core Modules, including the Try-It Activities featured in each module.
  • Complete all Explore Module topics, plus an additional End-of-Module Reflection.
  • Complete all Learning Surveys.
    • Learning Survey #1 (beginning of the course)
    • Learning Survey #2 (after the Core series)
    • Learning Survey #3 (after the Explore Module and End-of-Module Reflection)
  • Once you have completed the above requirements, a representative from CEE will review your submissions and participation and follow up with you to confirm your completion. CEE will then reach out to GradPathways on your behalf to verify your successful completion of the Learning Outcomes Assessment Pathway.

This pathway is a fully asynchronous, self-paced course for UC Davis faculty, instructors, postdoctoral scholars, graduate students, and other campus educators. This course is for all who teach at UC Davis.

This pathway can take approximately 3-5 hours to complete depending on the depth of interaction. The pathway consists of one final badge received after completion of the entire 'course' on Canvas.
