To earn Microbadge: Assessing Student Learning:

Option 1

Step 1: Complete the "Assessing Student Learning in Online Environments" workshop

Step 2: Use this form to submit the "one minute paper" you completed during the workshop.

Step 3: Use the same form to submit a short reflection on how you will use this content.

  • Please reflect on how your approach to assessing student learning will change, after having completed the workshop, focusing on one or two concrete things you will do differently.
  • Reflection and metacognition are important elements of your development as an educator. There is no length requirement, although we do not recommend going over about 1.5 pages.

Option 2

Step 1: Complete the Providing Effective Feedback on Student Writing workshop.

Step 2: Use this form to submit a short reflection on how you will use this content.

  • Please reflect on how your approach to assessing student writing will change, after having completed the workshop.
  • Reflection and metacognition are important elements of your development as an educator. There is no length requirement, although we do not recommend going over about 1.5 pages.

 

Option 3

Step 1: Complete the Getting to Know What Your Students Know: Simple Strategies to Assess Student Learning workshop.

Step 2: Use this form to submit a short reflection on how you will use this content.

  • Please reflect on how your approach to assessing student writing will change, after having completed the workshop.
  • Reflection and metacognition are important elements of your development as an educator. There is no length requirement, although we do not recommend going over about 1.5 pages.

While our staff will review submissions for completeness, we will not automatically respond with feedback.  Please allow 2-3 business days for badges to be issued- you will automatically receive an email from badgr to claim your badge when it is ready.  Please direct any questions to gpi@ucdavis.edu.
