To earn Microbadge: Inclusive Online Course (Re)Design:

Step 1: Complete the Inclusive Online Course (Re)Design Workshop.

Step 2: Use this form to submit your brainstorm on inclusive principles you completed during the workshop.

  • Considering the five principles as pathways to inclusive teaching, submit one change you could make in your class to improve your alignment with one, or more, of these principles.

Step 3: Use the same form to submit a short reflection on how you will use this content.

  • Please reflect on how your approach to course design will change for online courses, after having completed the workshop, focusing on one or two concrete things you will do differently.
  • Reflection and metacognition are important elements of your development as an educator. There is no length requirement, although we do not recommend going over about 1 page.

While our staff will review submissions for completeness, we will not automatically respond with feedback.  Please allow 2-3 business days for badges to be issued- you will automatically receive an email from badgr to claim your badge when it is ready.  Please direct any questions to gpi@ucdavis.edu.
