Step 1: Complete the Everything is Not Fine: Supporting Students During Difficult Times workshop.
Step 2: Use this form to submit your response to one of the case studies in activity #3 (you will need to access the additional resources) from the workshop.
- After reading the case, address the following questions:
- Keeping in mind the principles of trauma-informed teaching, what are some factors to consider in this situation?
- What are some potential responses?
- Slides and additional resources are also available in the video description at the link above.
Step 3: Use the same form to submit a short reflection on how you will use this content.
- Please reflect on how you will approach supporting students during difficult times, after having completed the workshop, focusing on one or two concrete things you will do.
- Reflection and metacognition are important elements of your development as an educator. There is no length requirement, although we do not recommend going over about 1 page.
